Well, she IS a toon.

Given her nature as a cartoon, I am inclined to believe they are naturally so. Also considering she is about the hottest cartoon ever, being more of a curse to her than a boon…

Does anyone else find it strange that Claire is having a presumably sexual relationship with a monkey?

Not considering that he’s anthropomorphic, and they’re both toons. If she was having a sexual relationship with an actual monkey, then yeah, there’d probably be some concerns.

I think I take this comic far to literally sometimes..

I know girls that date monkeys. I guess they’re probably closer baboons but still.
I find it harder to believe that she’s willing to date somebody half her size.
